• Golf
The nearest golf course is less than 10mins drive from the chalet. You have the choice of 2 courses at The Bled Golf & Country Club. The Kings course is regarded as Slovenia’s best and with it’s dramatic mountain backdrop is reputedly one of the most beautiful courses in Europe.

• Fishing
There are many opportunities to go lake or river fishing. Fauna Fly Fishing in Bled can arrange licences and a guided service with specialist knowledge www.faunabled.com
• Skiing
In winter, skiing is the most popular pastime in Slovenia. The chalet has easy access to local ski resorts: Kranjska Gora, Kobla, Vogel & Krvavec are all situated within 40 minutes drive. Both Kobla & Vogel are serviced for the duration of the season by the local ski bus from Bled. There is even a floodlit nursery slope in Bled itself.

• Water Sports
Try kayaking on Bohinj or white water rafting on the Sava Bohinja river (west of Bled). Alternatively relax around Lake Bled & hire a gondola or rowing boat.
• Horse Riding
The Mrcina Ranc in Studor offers a range of guided tours on sturdy Icelandic ponies ranging from one hour to 3 days. On arrival at lake Bohinj follow signposts for Mrcina Ranc.

• It's a walkers paradise
You can plan your route from the chalet, explore the endless pathways through woodland, or hike up the highest mountain in the Karavanke Alps (Stol, 2236m). Alternatively you can drive to the Triglav National Park inside 10 mins where you can explore this alpine wonderland. Choose an easy walk, a difficult hike, or a challenging mountain climb should you desire.
There is also immediate access to many other outdoor pursuits including rock climbing, mountain biking (please make use of the 2 adult sized mountain bikes that we have at the chalet), white water rafting, canyoning, caving & horse riding.
The tourist information centre in Bled will be able to arrange or give you advice on any of the above activities. We will also provide an information pack on request.
