“We’ve had a quite magical Christmas here at Pine Tree Chalet – such a wonderful place, so well equipped and with the best fires we’ve ever had the pleasure of warming ourselves in front of. The walking around the chalet, at Bled and at Bohinj was tremendous, and my brother and his partner made good use of the bikes. And the sauna…..after a long days walk or a few running laps around the lake was a real treat. Honestly, we could not have had a better Christmas – thank you so much!”

Fab place, we really enjoyed Slovenia. The chalet itself is lovely, the sauna is great! Wish we could take the basement home with us. Nice and relaxing holiday with good weather. We would like to come back in winter.

“We really enjoyed our stay in Slovenia, largely due to Pine Tree being such a great place to stay. We really appreciated the space and the facilities you offer. The kids were amazed as they explored the chalet on arrival finding more and more rooms! They were especially pleased to find the good collection of DVDs, and with the short winter days it helped fill in the long evenings. The kids enjoyed wandering down to 'your' lake and trying to break the ice with stones.”

“The location is awesome with a wide range of activities in fact so many that we didn’t get through all we wanted to do. Particular highlight was the white water rafting in Bovec. You must try the Augustin restaurant in Radoljica, it was amazing value and try and get a table on the terrace at the back”

“What a wonderful homecoming. We have stayed in some stunning places and this has moved to the top of the list. Wow! After arriving in the dark it was great to wake up this morning and see the beautiful surroundings. Everything is so well designed and clean. Visited Bled – tobogganing was great. Climbed Stol – great ascent, but descent slippery. Kayaking in Bovec – such beautiful emerald rivers. Bohinj – lovely walk up to the waterfall. Vintgar Gorge is spectacular!! Tolmin Gorges also beautiful. There is so much to do here….next time we’ll have to be here for more than 1 week. Being here at the chalet is fantastic and we could have spent a whole week just staying here. We have fallen in love with Slovenia and Pine Tree Chalet. Thank you so much!”
