1 • USE OF THE CHALET
Guests are required to use the chalet for the purpose of a private holiday residence up to the maximum number of 8 people.
The house must not be used for any business activity or illegal purposes.
Guests are required to follow “house rules” for their safety and convenience. Smoking is not allowed (due to the wooden construction of the chalet) and care should be taken in the prevention of blockages to the toilet system.

2 • ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
The chalet will be ready from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and we ask that it is vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. However, where possible we will try and be flexible. Please let us know preferred times of arrival and departure when booking and we will advise you accordingly.

3 • KEYS
Your keys will be forwarded to your chosen address at least 14 days prior to the start date of the rental period. If you lose the keys we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of a replacement. We will also send an information pack detailing activities in the local area along with easy to follow directions to the chalet. Please return the keys to us once the holiday is completed.

4 • HOW TO BOOK?
Once you have chosen the dates you require you need to confirm by e-mail or in writing. Payment can be made in Euros or Sterling whichever is more convenient for you.

5 • PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT
As confirmation of booking we ask that you send a £100 non refundable deposit (or equivalent in Euros) for 3-7day booking, £200 non refundable deposit for 8 day+ booking. We then confirm the booking to you by e-mail detailing the amount received and the dates you require. If the start date of rental is less than 4 weeks from the time of booking the full payment will be required.

6 • PAYMENT OF BALANCE
The balance must be paid at least 4 weeks before the start date of the rental period. Payment for both the deposit and the balance can be made by bank transfer or by cheque – our bank details will be given upon request.
Please note there I an additional £30 charge for end cleaning.

7 • CANCELLATIONS
If you want to cancel the booking after it has been confirmed, the following applies: If you have only paid the deposit, this will be retained by us and no further amount is due.
If you have paid in full, the full amount will be retained by us unless we can resell the rental, in which case the full amount will be returned to you less the £100 non returnable deposit.

8 • AMMENDMENTS TO BOOKING
If you need to amend your booking after it has been confirmed we will do our utmost to make any changes you need. There will be no charge for amendments providing the new dates required are available.

9 • OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We hope to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible, however, we regret we cannot accept liability for any injury, illness, death or loss incurred whilst staying at the chalet. We cannot be accountable for any event or circumstance out of our control which could not be predicted after taking reasonable care.
Minor breakages to crockery etc… will not be charged for but we would appreciate you informing us so it can be replaced for the convenience of future guests. In the extremely unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control we will refund the full amount of your rental. However we will not be accountable for any additional costs incurred outside of the rental agreement. We also reserve the right to cancel your booking if the required payment isn’t received in time. We recommend you take out your own travel insurance policy that will provide cover in the event of cancellation.
