An alternative to travelling by car would be to take the ski bus from Bled to both Vogel & Kobla (go to TIC Bled for timetable)

You may wish to try the nursery ski slope in Bled itself (Straza ski centre, behind the Grand Hotel Toplice), the vertical drop is only 150m, but it is local & ideal for young children & beginners. The run is also floodlit allowing night skiing.

Slovenia has many skiing resorts, the season beginning in December lasting until March or early April. There are four main ski resorts each within 40mins drive. Ski rental/passes can be arranged in either Bled or Kranjska Gora.
